The Potty Tots Training Program for Boys

The Potty Tots Training Program for Boys. (There is a girls' version too!)  This package came in the mail with a letter addressed to my little guy.  Now little W is only 22 months old and a brand new big brother.  He is not quite ready to start training yet, but we are thoroughly enjoying the DVD already.  Little W is a music lover and the upbeat tunes and cute animations have captured his attention.  I know that in no time he will be picking up the concept and we will be well on our way to being diaper free!

The kit includes a progress chart/game, a potty chart telling the child the steps, a book (that is almost word for word the same as the video!) and a DVD including a couple music videos.  Also, the website is available for more interaction with the characters and music.  When the child has succeeded at staying dry there is a certificate to print out!

One thing I really like about this package is the repetition and the clarity with which the producers have taught the concept.  My 3 year old daughter is day trained and we didn't use any program or package; she just got it one day.  But she, too, enjoys this.  It is a great reminder to all my children to use small amounts of toilet paper (clogged toilets here!!!), to flush and to wash their hands.  (Those are our problem areas!)  Anyway, I love how easy to read the charts are, how the chart is in the book and the DVD and how easily my older girls can "read" the chart to remind the littler ones!

Another thing I love is that the whole package is reusable!  The chart can be used for multiple children as can the DVD and the book.  Now if we happen to be training a girl next (which we will be when little R gets to that age) we may have to consider getting the girls' version!  Then we'll be set for however many children we happen to have!

The game is hands-on but not something that I would allow my littles to play with.  I think a great addition to this product would be something the child can manipulate while sitting on the toilet waiting to go or a puppet to sing with the DVD and songs.  My children are always in such a hurry to get back to playing.  If there was something to keep them on the toilet a little longer, we might have success sooner!  Then again, the book could do that too!  I guess you just have to find what works for you!

This package is a great addition to a parent's arsenal of tools in the potty training saga.

The Potty Tots Potty Training Program – For girls

Potty Training Kit - Girl Version Emily's little sister, Lilly, is starting preschool and doesn't know how to go potty. Emily comforts her sister by sharing a story of her experience in Miss Maggie's preschool class. Through colorful laminated charts, DVDs, songs, a book and even tattoospotty training can actually be fun!   My two year old daughter and I have been working on potty training.  I love the six step chart walking her through going potty. She used to pitch a fit if her pants weren't completely off until she saw the little girls with their pants by their ankles.  it even walks her through washing her hands. I was so excited when this arrived in the mail! It is beautifully packaged as well and came with a letter addressed to my child.  There is also a wonderful interactive web site we have frequented regularly.  She can watch the videos, print out coloring sheets, and even a diploma.  There are also great tips for parents as well including a newsletter. I was very impressed with this kit.  I am mother to six great kids and have done the potty training bit more than I care to remember!  This actually makes it enjoyable! The kit includes: • A story/guide book • Animated DVD -featuring three original Potty Tots songs and 2 bonus music videos • One 11"X17" Illustrated potty chart (easily wipes clean with damp cloth) • One 11"X17" “Toilet Bowl" progress/reward game with clings (easily wipes clean with damp cloth) For ordering information click on the product image above.

Potty Tots Training Kit

We received the Potty Tots Training Kit in the mail at the perfect time.  I've been trying to motivate myself to start working with my 2 year old.  She actually showed interest around 18 months, but we had a new baby and I did not have the time or desire to focus on running to the potty.  I was also a little hesitant to start that early because my oldest showed interest around 2 and we worked for what seemed like forever before she really had it down.

The following week after receiving the kit I sat down and looked through it a couple of times.  I wanted to make sure I saw and knew how to use everything that came with it.  In the past, I could never see myself purchasing a "kit" to help with potty training, but this kit has really changed my mind.  Everything in it is reusable.  We have all girls, so had I purchased it with the first, we could have made it work with all 3 kids.  It’s not filled with rewards that can only be used once or little trinkets like I’ve seen in other kits.  This kit is more of a foundation and a motivation to keep going.  The kit comes with a book, dvd, and 2 charts and some little tattoos (which we haven’t/didn’t use).  We've only read the book a couple of times, but my daughter loves the DVD.  It’s a really short dvd, so it holds their attention.  The story is cute and the music is very catchy.  Even my baby starts dancing along when they are singing.  The charts are great to hang in the bathroom.  Everything is laminated, so no worries about it getting dirty or crumpled.  They are easy for the kids to use and follow along with as well.  This kit is perfect for every type of parent.  Whether you've had experience potty training in the past or this is your first child, having this kit can help a challenging milestone be a more pleasant one.  The website also provides some fun things for the kids to do, as well as some helpful information for Mom and Dad.
