Jason and I have been looking for a really nice, non-breakable coffee pot for a long time.  We have three little girls who love to help out by making coffee (cleaning the coffee pot and filter) for their mom and dad.  Well, let's just say the glass coffee carafes do not last very long around here.  I'd say in the last two years we've broken 6.  We have been so thankful for our second hand store and their supply of carafes for a dollar a piece!

Canadian Tire is holding some really great sales the last few weeks and this week just happened to have exactly what we were looking for.  A coffeemaker with no glass pieces!!!  We just brewed our first pot this evening and this maker brews a great pot of coffee too.  In addition to being kid friendly, this item is programmable, and also has a LED clock!  Okay, I know, why am I excited about a clock?  Because I don't have one in my dining room where this machine is sitting.

I would never have even considered purchasing this Brewstation at regular price (89.99CAD), but at 50% off, I considered it.  Jason convinced me, but it certainly didn't take much.  Now, having purchased and used this machine, I would pay full price for it.  Well worth the money.

I love the peace of mind the plastic "carafe" gives me.  Plus, on those early mornings when Jason has to go to work and I've had "one of those nights" with the baby I will be very thankful for the program feature.  Well . . . . . provided I'm organized enough to set it up the night before!
