The best reuseable bag ever!

Monday, July 13th, 2009
I've been using my bag for 6 months, I know why didn't I write a post earlier? Well, its always being used. Yesterday we took this bag to the beach, where it carried 3 snorkles, 3 snorkling masks, 3 bottles of water, 1 kleen kanteen, 1 tube SPF 50, 3 snacks, 2 cell phones and 1 wallet. Whew...I didn't realize all of that was in there. The most weight I've carried in it is almost $100 in change. That's a lot, if you are carrying it around. The stitching has held through 6 months of shopping, vacations, overnights, several washings (no fading) and well, I can't count all of the dragging around. I hope to order more of these bags from EcoBags.com Thanks go to EcoBags.com for offering this item for review.

Saving the world one bag at a time :)

eco-bagIn our house I will have to admit that I was one of those people that didn't think twice about all the grocery store plastic bag's filling up our landfill's. Then the Ecobag company sent me a bag to review. I started using this bag for everything. It has gotten used atleast once or twice a week. I have used it for numerouse different things from going to the grocery store, walmart and using it as my diaper bag/slash kids bag. I also used it when going swimming it held the girls swim suits and towels perfectly plus still had room for me to throw in some snack's. Not long after I recieved this bag, hubby went to a conferece where they were giving some reusable bag's out. I had about 8 other bag's. I used them a couple of times and the thread would would come lose and I think I have had to throw half of them away. The other half I put up and only use when the kids are running some where and they need to take a lunch or something. The ecobag is made from recycled cotton canvas. It is a durable material. My bag has been washed multiple time. It has been dragged thru dirt, a container of a&d exploded (or kids decided to help it explode) inside the bag.It still look's brand new. I also love that this tote is not just a plain bag, I have people telling me all the time your bag is cute. If you would like to see for yourself this bag is for sale for 14.99 at http://www.ecobags.com Here are some other thing's I used the bag for just to show you how much you can fit in this one bag. with 4 large bottle's of laundry soap ecobag3 everything that was in my bag

EcoBags Talk Green To Me Tote

EcoBags sent over a cute black canvas tote that reads, “Talk Green To Me” and I’ve given it the test.  From groceries to whatever I may need to get out the door with, it gets the job done.  It is sturdy, washes well, and is easy to carry.  I’ve been slowly moving away from using plastic grocery bags… slowly because there are a lot of times I forget to take my bags along!  Admittedly, most of my bags are purchased from the grocery or department store, so it is nice to have a bag that is much more durable and has a cute saying instead of advertising for the store.

ECOBAG Review

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

I was supplied my ecobag from the company.  I love the black with the bright green detailing. The black hides soil but the green helps to locate it!  The bag is constructed of very rugged material and well stitched.  I have been putting my bag to the test.

I have purchased many re-useable bags at grocery stores and other retail stores.  However,  seams seem to fall out and the material is so incredibly thin they certainly don't last long around our family of eight.  There is truly no comparison between this bag and the regular retail bags.  The design and construction makes it truly a "green bag"  whereas other bags seem to be fairly disposable.

I have been using my bag very often for the last seven months now.  I have even tossed it in the washer about four times and it still keeps on serving our needs. I consider this bag a good buy and a wise investment.

A Reusable Bag by EcoBags

Thursday, December 11th, 2008
I had been waiting for this bag to arrive!  I love cloth bags and use them for many things - library books, taking books or clothes on trips, sending a gift to a friend down the street.  With 5 children, sometimes it feels like I can never have enough bags around.  I was very curious to see what this bag would look like and what the quality would be.  Let's just say I was not disappointed!  Some bags have weak seams or inferior stitching.  Not so with this one.  The handles!  They are just the right length.  You can hold them in your hand and the bag does not drag on the ground (at least if you are as tall as me) and yet they are big enough that you could put the straps over your shoulder too!  I love that.  I wanted to test the bag's strength to see how much I could put in it weight wise.  And then I wanted to see what types and sizes of products would fit nicely.  Look what we did.  (Not included in the pictures are two gallons of milk that fit nicely side by side in the bag!)

I am very very impressed with the bag from EcoBags.

My 6 week old baby fit nicely, not too snug.

My 30 pound 2 year old did not cause any creaking or groaning of the seams either.

And two bags of 72 count Pampers diapers fit perfectly.

Yep, a great product.  Check out more such bags and other products at Ecobags.com.
