CoverPlug. A Review.

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

What a great fix for any family with little fingers!  Replace that unsightly socket plug with coverPlug just by pressing it in place. This product is a wonderful solution for childproofing your house!  Paint coverPlug the same color as your walls and the outlet visually “disappears.”  When you redecorate you can simply repaint it with the new color.  All my kids are grown and gone, but coverPlugs are perfect for the safety of my visiting grandchildren.  The truth is, with or without children, I want to cover all my unused electrical sockets with coverPlugs simply because they give the room such an elegant look.

Baby Safety Products With The Stylish Parent In Mind

A small 3”x5” piece of ingenious arrived in my mailbox one day.  As parents, our babies and children’s safety come first, even if it clashes with our décor. It is a small price to pay and we accept it willingly. Well, the folks at Cover Plug must have had stylish parents in mind {as well as kicking the safety up a notch} when they created this.  The Cover Plug covers the entire outlet, so it isn’t as attractive to curious little ones as the little clear plugs.  Also? It can be painted to match the wall color, which essentially makes it disappear – beautiful! Not only will you not have those unsightly plastic plugs everywhere, but unused outlets will no longer be noticeable. {This means it also basically disappears to your little one.}

An ingenious baby product that promotes safety AND has the stylish parent in mind? Win!

Cover plug

Don't you hate all those little saftly oulet protecters that even a 2 year old figures out how to get them out. Well now there is a solution, The cover plug. It makes an extra outlet look like there isn't one there. the best part is that it is a paintable surface. So if you want it to match that red wall in the kitchen or that pink wall in the girls room it can. We have a white wall where we are using the cover plug and honestly I had forgot it was there you don't even notice it. Tthe cover plug was fairly easy to put in and just as easy to take back out. To order go to www.coverplug.com  once there click on the little link that says order now and it will take you to a page that has all the places you can order. Note: The Cover Plug was given to me.

Cover Plug

  If you are looking for peace of mind when dealing with unused outlets, then look no further.  The Cover Plug is the answer to your problems.  We are blessed to have many outlets in our house.  In my daughters rooms however, I hate having so many outlets.  I always have to make sure every outlet has safety plugs in them and remember to check them perodically, which is not always at the top of my mind.  With the Cover Plug, they do not even pay attention to the outlet.  The cover comes white, but it has a paintable surface.  This is a plus because most kids room are usually painted some other color besides white.  We have purple in one of our bedrooms, so having the option of matching the plate not only helps the kid not notice it, but also keeps the overall decorative style going.  Installation of the cover plug is easy and only requires a screwdriver for the existing screws in our outlet.  Pop the cover on and your all set.   These covers would be a unique gift to add to a new moms baby shower gift.  Check out the CoverPlug website for information about this product and how to order.
