This tee has become one of our favorites simply because it is so comfy, but I’ have to confess that I haven’t shown my son he can draw on it. He’s two and a half and I’m not ready for the disaster THAT bit of info could lead to.

I received the red t-shirt with the heart on it from The Chalkboard Tee . I gave it to my 5 year old for Christmas. She love's it. Right away Kay-k ay started drawing on it. My 7 year old loved it too. So now they take turns wearing it and drawing on the shirt. It wash's good,I wash it with the rest of her shirt's and then air dry it. I am gonna have to order an extra on for my oldest. If you have a kid that loves to draw this is something your child or teenager will love.Really what kid dosen't love chalk and to have mommy permission to draw on there clothes. I was totally unsure of this t-shirt.  Before receiving it, I did explore the website a little and watched the video.  I was excited yet skeptical that it would work.   Like Kim I got the pink with the butterfly as a gift for my 6 year old girl.  She loves it!  When the shirt is clean, she has it on.  Now, another thing I was worried about was staining.  My 6 year old is not the neatest eater or player.  Her clothes are often quite grubby.  I am so very pleased that so far, everything she's gotten on the tee has come out in a cold/cold wash and hang dry!   She was a little sad that I put the chalk through the wash and they came out crumbly but brightened up when I told her we could just use any chalk that we had in the house.   We were both amazed at how the drawings stay on the washer and don't rub off on other items of clothing.  I didn't even tell her about how to use it, but asked her once if the pictures stayed on.  She says, "Yep!  All you have to do is wipe it with a cloth.  Look!"  And she proceeded to wipe the drawing off the butterfly.   Overall, I am very pleased with the product.  The seams are strong and there has been no unravelling.  No staining or shrinking.  I know my teen sitters would love to have one too.   Disclosure: This great t-shirt was graciously sent to me by the company.

  The Chalkboard Tee is one of the neatest t-shirts I have seen in a long time.  I received this tshirt shortly before Christmas.  So, I used it as one of my 5 year old Christmas gift.  When she first opened it, she thought the shirt looked interesting, but after I showed her what she could do with it she was very excited.  We got the tshirt in pink with a butterfly.  My daughter enjoyed chalking all over every spot on the butterfly.  The tshirt washed very well in the washing machine and I let it air dry like instructed.  This will defintely be on her show and tell list for school.  The tshirt was great for my daughter, but I also could defintely see this catering to an older crowd.  I think kids in jr. high as well as high school would get a kick out of this type of shirt.  If someone is looking for a unique gift, this would defintely be something to consider.  It's cost more then your standard tshirt, but you are getting more for that extra money. I honestly had no idea what this t-shirt was going to be until it arrived and I was completely in awe! I have five children full-time and they all wished they had one (especially my 15 year old son!). What a creative idea. I ordered a small for my youngest but in retrospect I think this would make a totally awesome gift for an older child. They could have a ton of fun at school or church letting their friends write on it! If there is a design with chalkboard on the back….just imagine! I only wish I’d thought of the idea. This is a very fun and creative product.
