If You Give a Cat a Cupcake is written by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond.
What a silly book! And what child doesn't like silliness. My children are always asking
the "what if" questions. This book (and others by this author) are prefect for this type of thinking and reminds me of Flylady's SHEs (side-tracked home executives). The little cat jumps from thought to thought and place to place quickly as each new idea brings about a new and different idea or place to visit! And always a mess to be made! This is a quick read and perfect for three to seven year olds. I would even bet that some seven year olds could read this to a younger sibling!
Disclosure: This book was graciously sent to me by HarperCollins Publishing.
