Tonight my girls and I enjoyed Fancy Nancy's Favorite Fancy Words. My 2 year old lasted about 30 seconds and moved on to getting into other things while my attention was focused on the book and my 4 year old. The book is listed as being geared towards children 4-7, so that would explain why the younger one cut out early. My oldest daughter and I really enjoyed this book. The cover is very girly with pretty colors, glitter, and a shiney finish. The book would defintely be a great gift book for a girls birthday. The eye catching illustation is carried from the cover thru the entire book. This book not only has great pictures, but also provides a learning opportunity by introducing a word for each letter of the alphabet, the definition of the word, as well as an example. To help kids have more of an understanding, the pictures on each page give a visual example of what the word means. This book will defintely be in our personal library for a long time and is the perfect book for a household with 3 little girls.

Okay, we haven’t read that one, but we’ve read a Fancy Nancy book. My girls – 7, 6, and 3 – LOVED it! This one is a keeper I’m sure!
